went away to the river allan for a couple of hours on sat to see if i could catch me first salmon.
seen a few fish but they didnt want anything i had to offer,devon,flying c,mepps.only thing i got was a wee 6 inch broonie.finished up about 6 o`clock got home 6.30.
a couple hours later my brother dropped in on his way home from fishing the river teith first thing he said was who`s got a camera.
i just knew what was coming next,went and got me camera and there on the kitchen table was a silver 6.3/4 lb salmon.
my brother and his pal were going to call it a day and have a couple more cast before going home when hooked into the salmon it jumped two or three times before he landed it after 15 mins.
thats the first salmon he has caught and its his first season fishing the teith so he has done well,unlike me,still waiting on me first salmon after 5 seasons.well might be me next.

not to worry neilson,still a few salmon days left if ye hit the borders an failing that it all kicks off again on 15th january on the tay, a good day that i would reccomend to all no matter the weather,the crack is great an yer unlikely to see so many salmon fishers in the one place at the same time any where else in the country-an they hand oot complimentary drams to all who want it.

mrmij put the pic(in the right section) of me brothers first salmon in the fishing pics section 63/4lb.
maybe me next season
