i dont know how many of you go worm slingin(maggot),tae loch tay, earn, awe, tummel, ect. ive been loch fishin wae the same boys tae the some places for over 30 years and it seems that there are so many anglers? that leave the places they fish like a siht hole. when we go fishin we end up putin all thier cans, bottles, ect in black bags(plus our own stuff)and put it where it is supposed tae be put. i dont know what the tourists think, but i think most of the lochs are a mess. is it just me, am i wrong

Good shout Mepstar, you are right but it is mostly in the central belt and we all Know the problem for it, you canny even camp now on some Lochs because of these morons, but there you go they even try to burn trees that they have just cut down. Am all in support of what you have stated.

it's a fair puggle...under the new right to ramble legislation with the scottish legislation no-one has the legal right to stop camping overnight but it left to the individual to insure that waste is disposed of
a word in their ear sometimes will do but if you come across some of the guys i know you will end up with a fat lip or worse....enforcement will be met with force...but to keep the places safe, sound and family friendly harsh measures should be taken
i like to ramble...last time from newcastle to dalkeith(outside edinburgh)
i leave no mess no trace...if anything i leave the place tidier than when i arrived...i follow standard wherever i go

thats just like us we leave the place cleaner than we found it. but the worst thing is the fishin line that they leave behind, what they must do is at the end of the fishin they just cut the line and leave it where it falls.hook line and wieghts ect. we have went tae places where a duck has been tangled with line and we have got the line off, but there must be loads of birds that have not been freed and died. i am am afraid that includes fisheries, the amount of times i have been at fisheries and found line next to where i am fishin, well i pick it up(when i can see it, need glasses you know)and put it inthe nearest bin
