Was down the Clyde yesterday and my braided loop snapped and the last I saw of my two flies was them sailing towards the river. Was wondering what methods you guys use to attach your fly line and leader?

Will give that a go, used to make a loop in line and secure with mono but have forgotten how I did it age does not come alone. Noticed the link also shows the Palomar knot which I have used and found to be really strong. shanksi

this time round at fishing i've swapped to the braided loop...but already i've had a loop come undone...the braid stayed on the line the actual loop came apart....
before i used nothing like a loop...just a knot on the end of the fly line and my leader tied with a barrel knot above it so as not to slip

You guys need to attach them with angling glue a water proof one as they say after a while your line can snap with super glue.
