you dip your nets before fishin right,so why do we not dip our fly reels at the end of the day surely they can carry a desease to the next days fishin just as well.or am a wrong

Canny be that bad or they would not let you use your net. Like at Menteith, Must be passed on when you net fish on C/R. Fik a don't know.

didnae find anything on dippin nets, but found that bobo has a writeup in "the courier"(a paper for tayside)

How did you find that and whats the address. I could not find anything on chemical for net dipping.

was lookin on the web tae see aboot desease and nets, but did not find a thing so i googled this. "dipping nets at fly fisheries"go to page 2 and clik "courier sports story"scroll down to swans eater and bingo.

they say u should use a water rinse aswell after the chem dip,i have not seen any fisheries with these water rinse dips
