Off work this week for holiday so thinking of going up to Swans on Thursday with Josh. If anyone fancies a day fishing will see you there. Forecast sounds ok for week will also be back on the Clyde.

Josh and I went up to Swans today but blanked as did quite a lot of other folk. The sun was just too strong and the fish had all went deep. Only had a couple of nips but never managed to pick them up.

I the sunshine can be a dam pain for the fisherman and the warmer temperatures at this time must be playing havoc with a cold water fish like the Rainbow. In Swans they seem to shoal in one area in these conditions and if you are no in it you are on to plumbs bud. Never mind at least you had a day out and you canny complain at that. Am off to Rum on Monday with the college and the rod is going along. Looking to return to, some of Lgf’s new patterns on the board. and some good fishing reports from the forum gang required for my return Saturday night... Need to look out some gear and get me self organised at the weekend for the trip, me good mate Wasp is picking me up at 3.15 am early Monday morning and am hoping to be ready for the travels across the Isles on Tuesday canny wait. Will try and source a Pc on the Island mid week but a think I have more chance of winning the lottery. Might do one of them Diary things but there will no be much fishing in it but will give you an update on venues. with some nature. Anybody interested in a trip to the Isle of Eigg in September?

yep we are all still using the excuse of the sun....my excuse was that i was out of practice...at first when i got a bite i froze cause it had been so long.... i've spoke to a few that have been at Swans this week and they've also said the going has been slow...to be honest three of them have also blanked and when chatting have said any nibbles they had have been weak...the fish just aren't interested..but that's fishing back to your train timetables...i use the trains and buses regular...probably the same site you've been on but i'll post it anyway train travel www.nationalrail.co.uk/
