there is a new fishin shop just opened up the road from me (blinkbonny road).its no a big shop, but has a good selection o flies(got a few maself)a few rods for sale, maggots and worms,fly lines the usual stuff. if yer up this way drop in  |

Have they got a web site then Neilson? and do they sell permits for the canal?
Now you may wonder why a ask that, the reason is, because you are supposed to have a permit to fish the canal but nobody knows where you can get them.
I think that could be one for Sherlock frog to track down.

where is the new shop-blinkbonny road doesnt mean anything to me?As for canal permits they were only a fiver for the entire year the last time i had one-i think you are supposed to get them from british waterways or whoever it is that runs the locks an that,never been asked for a permit on the canal.
