:oawrite lads went too wellsfield for my first bit fly fishing cought nowt the rod a got has not got enough kick at the end couldnt cast 10 feet odds tried got it about 20 feet at a push so it wasent really a good day.Will just need 2 buy a new rod oan friday  |

Now a would no be taking anything that Odd ball tells you, or you will be changing gear every week mate. A bad tradesman blames his tools just ask Oddz.
Welcome to fishing bud don't be blaming anything bar yourself there is fish in there just have to find the pattern that is catching and the depth they are at, and then it's happy days.
Everybody blanks never meet a fisherman that has not yet, so don't let it put you off.
Sounds like you were using the wrong line rating to rod or was your line on the right way.
If i was you a would invest in some Kasta lessons, I would no be taking any lessons of Oddz he has more bad habits than a pregnant nun. Was he showing you the hockey cockey when he casts. ;D
