how dae ye clean your fly lines boys,me warm water wae a dash o fairy liquid. heard that there is stuff ye can buy frae the tackle shops, but never seen them maself  |

There is a few options Neilson one you put on your line then wipe off and then you buff up the line with a cloth makes the line slick to go through your rod rings when casting, and then there is a small circular pad you can use to clean your line with, these are excellent, and you can see the dirt that is on your line. Pull all your line off into sink , basin etc. then pull the line through the pad while winding in line.
Have used both but prefer the wee pads mate. The buffing up off the line is too much like housework.
