Caught a 21/2lb and a 31/2lb rainbow yesterday on a wee lure I tied myself 
size 12
Fluo green bead
Thin black body
Fluo green Marabou tail
Mate 1 caught a 31/2 on a viva,and a 41/2 pounder on a PTN
Mate 2 caught a 3lb on a black and green lure
We fished platforms 16 - 18 opposite the lodge next to overflow and weed bed.
Weather overcast with occassional showers and a cold light wind.
This is first time I've been out in ages.
I sent a photo e mail of the fish to bobo
