there could be a new record for a rod caught salmon,just read on cefax that a salmon had been caught on the river ness that was 50in long and has a 40in girth.it was a male fishy.
it says the images and measurements are being sent to a fishery lab.
it did not sat that they had received the fish.just hope they did not put the fish back,i dont think it counts as a record if they had put it back.
