Josh and I have decided to fish the Clyde this year and have just received our permits. We will be fishing the Mid Clyde which covers from Dalmarnock Road bridge in Glasgow to Motherwell Bridge. It is quite handy for us to get to and have been told by a few people one of the best places to try is at the Hoover factory in Cambuslang. Was wondering if any of you guys know anything about this stretch of the Clyde?

Not sure if factory is still open. Clyde is getting better each year plenty salmon sea trout and brownies plus coarse fish have heard a rumour there are some barbel in the river as well. If we can arrange a lift to Swanswater Josh and I will be there so can get you the HP. Take it you want a 12 yo and not the the 30 yo only £135 a bottle. shanksi
