i went today.........no fault bar mine i drew a blank

i arrived late to be told hat they were pulling them out for fun...i watched for 15mins and they were...so got a 4 hr ticket at £11

i had a good few tugs but couldn't hook a fish..(my own fault...out of the game for a few years)

the peg next to me on seeing my tugs viewed my flies and copied them...he got 2 fish in an hour....i still had none

i watched as fish after fish was brought in all round the pond...but got none...and as midday went and the sun came out i fished a deeper rig on a sinking line....again with tugs...but my reactions are well off

i saw many fish lifted today, good weights too..but i fell short with nowt...i'm not dispondant as i got a few tips etc...and as the first time out in a decade..(back to novice)...i had low expectations..

all in..a good half shift,good feedback from the guys fishing and the guys at Millhall...plenty fish going but not my day

At least you managed to get out lgf. Josh and I went down to the Clyde this afternoon for a walk but it was really windy and then the heavy rain came on so glad we hadn't taken our gear. Also started to get cold.

it was windy early on so i changed peg after the wind kept dropping my line flat...it was coming more down than across...i changed to having the wind directly behind me as i was unsure about my casting abilities but the wind dropped for an hour or so just before noon and i was getting a fair cast with no tangles in my leader...it picked up big time just after noon and throughout had been blawing through rain

no pics jock...i didnae bring my cam...i'll photo the fleas i tried later on this evening with the webcam..

i'll get round to it just i have my daughter down this evening so she takes priority ;D
