Fishing Lessons
1 Hour One to One Fishing Lesson £15 per half hour, £25 per hour.
(includes Rod Hire, Tackle and Permit)

The trout fishery comprises of 3 well-stocked lochans:
Lochan Hearadh - 5 acres of Fly Fishing from the bank (19ft deep, 45 pegs).
Lochan Uaithne - 4 acres of Fly Fishing from the bank (18ft deep, 20 pegs).
Lochan Fionn - 3 acres of mixed Fly and Bait fishing from the bank (20ft deep, 25 pegs).
Set in beautiful natural surroundings.
Bank fishing for up to 100 rods.

attended wellsfeild a few times,had a couple of good fish off it,best fish was an 8 1\2lb rainbow cought on a gold hummungas tied by our very own mr craig,

it's changed a bit since then Bobo...during the winter months it has had a refurb....deeper and wider....the main fly pond doubled in size and the others elongated

stocking has improved as well with tiger,blue and steelheads with massive weight...

i've never fished there...waiting on a recent report from anyone

Fly life is coming into abundance as is aquatic insects,nymphs and fry.
The trout are now moving all over the surface of the lochans.Many rainbows,blues and bowns were caught from 2 to 13lb.
m.henderson (falkirk) an 11lb rainbow in his four for 17lb from the bait pond using powerbait.there were a few 6-7lb trout also caught.
Fly fishers are finding a floating line worked best with dancers, buzzers,nymphs,and lures.Bait anglers found spinners,powerbait and maggot worked best.Some better catches:mcfarlane (falkirk) five for 19lb; king (stenhousemuir)five for 16lb 8oz; allan(denny) five for 16lb; mcintosh(camelon) five for 16lb; mclaughlin(falkirk) five for 15lb; thomson (fishcross) three for 8lb; clark (bonnybridge) three for 8lb; mcdonald (denny) three for 8lb.
