There has been a nice ripple on the water most days making for excellent fly and bait fishing.Two double figure specimens were caught including a nice 11lb rainbow for m donaldson (falkirk)in his four for 19lb using buzzers.
Fly fishers are finding a floating line worked best with dancers,buzzers ,nymphs and lures.Bait anglers found,spinners,powerbait,and maggot worked best.
Some of the better catches;Reid (falkirk) five for 20lb; mcqueen (larbert) five for 16lb 8oz; Dillon (bonnybridge) five for 16lb; mcinnes (camelon) five for 16lb; Stoddart (denny) five for 16lb;Ferguson (falkirk) five for 15lb; Rogers (banknock) three for.8lb 8oz.
