a mixed bag today with differing results....fine weather to start and little to no breeze looked like a difficult day....post saturday night made it seem near impossible.......i arrived late..(answers on a postcard ) and Jimy and Neilson already had a fish in the bag

Bobo had fish in the bag shortly after i arrived...much to my disdain as he was on the peg i would have wished for and i lost a dropper to a fish shortly after watching Brian trying to pull a fish to the bank from 10 yards out in one tug..(didn't work....needs to lay of the weetabix)

my own day was dour with only a few knocks in the morning....and completely blanking in the afternoon despite a gathering of breeze and cloud cover.....i did persist in trying..ke-he and hoppers and other smaller fleas as the surface was alive with small browns but i couldn't match anything...i did foul hook a broonie in the last 10 mins and it was less than a slice of bread long but even it got off

unlike that spawny git Mr Bubble (foul hook rant rant rant rant)

Bobo took the day and only myself and Kaszta failed to land one...Neilson caught 2 i think,Jimmy 2, Bobo Bagged up his four and i think Wasp got 1

i was on the small naturals (ke-he,black and blae,black and peacock spider,green hoppers and Alexandria)with intermittent bursts of orange fritz with tail(lost on take) green/black fritz and dancers

me and jimmy got tae burnhouse just before 8.00 and waited tae the other boys came.15 min later they drove up, got their permits and off we went.
i used floatin line wae a pink flee got a couple o knocks then saw jimmy intae a fish,a min later i was intae a fishy tae,which i netted and was a 2lb rainbow.changed flees a few times but with no luck.
move tae the other side beside jimmy,and put on naturals,zulu,dunkeld,ect,got a few bites and missed a couple.an hour tae go i changed back tae the pink flee.a few casts later,bang ma rod bent the fish lept out o the water, went back under, and ping, the fish got off.was a good fish tae but it was ma own fault a didnae lower the rod when it jumped.
bobo did his usual caught mair fish than obody else.
me,one fishy 2lb on the nose.
