SPIRAL BLOODWORM (Killer)Hook: Kamasan B830 Size 10 Tail Spiral: RED Body Flex (Lureflash) Cut out same size as 1 pence piece Then using sissors or blade. Cut circle working your way to the middle of the Body Flex. and there you have your Spring Spiral. Attach to Hook shank using RED UTC Thread Grade size 70. and cover with a bit of super glue on the thread.
Simple But Very Effective. Fished Static with the occational Twitch, there is enough movement created by the Spiral Alone. When you retreive it the Bloodworm will spin, Ensure you stop and allow it to relax and unwind again. This is very important.PLEASE NOTE:If you make one of these, Please Please Perform this test as it will give a great indication of what it does underwater. Attach at least 2 feet of Flurocarbon on the Hook, and fill your bath tub (FULL) with (COLD) Water Only. Now throw in the bloodworm and see first how it sinks and the speed rate of sinking. Now first test is to just twitch gently! see how it moves! Now perform a retrieve that you would normally do by skimming the Bloodworm acroos the length of your bath. Now you will see the Spiral Action during the retreive. So now you know WHY! it is important to relax and stop your retrieve.for the wee beastie to unwind again. But you can see WHY! The Fish are induced to take this Pattern.
