Well as the days whizz by its almost time for yer local river to open its waters to one an all as long as ye huv a permit;;;;so its also time to tie up some patterns for the season-from my own point of view these are few in number-spiders are a sure bet-small sizes an sparsely tied any an all colours to suit situation,even tie some with a bit of weight for early season an high waters;nymphs also worth a go pheasnts tails,sawyers,greygoose,blackprince,caddis types-again small sizes an again with weight for early season;as fur dry a think ye cannae beat klinkhammer for over the season an grey wulff an adams are killers too;;happy tying an good luck for the season.
