I have made some spanflex SQ buzzers (Synthetic Quill). I found the pattern whilst browsing the web and decided I would give it a go. Mine arent exactly the same as the original but its quite close. I have used olive and chartreuse spanflex for the body and have to say they look the business. Forgot to add they are on size 12's
I caught my first fly caught fish on a baby doll lgf , fontburn reservoir many years ago.
Whats everyone else tying ?

Endrick spider for me,its really a slightly weughted pheasant tail nymph with a collar hackle;our head bailiff on the river swears by it but ive never fished it much myself;he gave me one of his some years back an i kept it safe for ages but finally plucked up the courage to try it an lost it up a tree within ten minutes.
