Hi All,
Anyone interested in a fly swap ,ie tie a set amount of flies each say 12 and 11 other members also tie 12 we send them to a swapmiester who overseas the swap sets the closing date etc and posts them out to the tyers.I would be willing to run the first swap with any fly you wish for the theme as each is registered we can post their name and fly to try and avoid doubles I will propose a tiny miracle nymph size 18 for my fly, lets see if this can work then I'll set a closing date, remember I'm new here so I don't know all the names yet go easy on me guys!!!!
Names- Paramedicpete Tiny miracle nymph.

You don't need to be a great tyer I describe myself as an improver as I have returned to tying after about 20 yrs,and have flies changed! The numbers were only hypothetical 5 would be great any fly is acceptable its not a competition only to share tying and boost your fly box!!!.Most would be able to do a fritz or spider or something similar, there are loads of step by steps on flyforums if anyone needs help I use them often, these good tyers make it look so easy.
If any are still keen post to say what you would like to tie and lets have a wee bit fun.

Spiders and blobs to start would be a good both easy to tie and catchers. I will tie up 6 orange blobs and 6 varient spiders while the new tiers can tie up 6 or how many are in swap, of there choice. will drop off a kit for Bobo on wednesday. closing date say end of May.

Right Pete what's the Format? ok all names in by 30th April then the number of swappers ie 5 tie 5 flies all same pattern,I will pm all swappers with my address and they send the flies by a closing date to me with a stamp addressed envelope to return the flies you then get one of your own flies back and one of everyone elses,I will post a picture of all the flies ,if possible pop in a recipe for your fly and any tips on how it best fishes, everyone benefits .Nb post will probably need large letter stamps due to new sizes.
