Are you ready for swap 2. The crane fly is starting to make an appearance and should be in full flight at the end of August running into September and October. Now these are a wee bit more time consuming and should be a good pattern for tying up for our next swap. What about the end of August? Giving us all time to get prepared and ready for the big hatches. Colouration does it matter? I think it might, going by these three pictures what do you think. I will put up a step by step of my offering for those not attempted this pattern yet the basics are the same and don't See any problems this should help out lgf. Caught a few down in Keswick last year during early October with game anglers Damsel and Caddie on a home made Daddy, and had a great days sport with hits and misses.
