went tae burnhoose the day never fished it before.got there 9.00ish had the place tae meself,went tae the far bank the second last platform.
i used my new well its not new (but thats another story)greys three piece rod and floatin line and put on a pink lure got a couple o knocks then mist a really good fishy.after aboot an hour i was joined by two other fishermen.i had changed my fly to my lime green thingy(my memory for the names of flies is bad)and mist another good fish.
after a few more casts i went to the top end ,but no joy .
one of the other boys had caught two fish on a pink fly, by the way.it went dead for a couple of hours no fish showin.2 o clock and one fisherman had four fish the other two, me nufin.
put on a yellow dancer and on my second cast i had a fishy in the net.the guy that had caught four fish gave me a pink fly (which i thought was very nice of him) and said tae try further down a bit,so off i went .third cast fishy number two in the net(the pink fly).got a few good knocks but missed them.went back to the middle of the loch and changed my fly to a yellow dancer fifth cast fishy number three on the bank,half an hour later my time was up time tae go home.
the day was cloudy, rain and sunshine a bit breezy sometimes it was a guid day oot my first since swanswater.
oh and i got sunburnt.will go back again.. 3 fish 6.1/4lb
