Its a rather rough water, is it not? the Bristol channel It can get a bit choppy but the prevailing wind is south westerly (gulf stream) so it gets some protection from the wind from devon and cornwall, but what makes it hard for boat fishing is the huge tidal range of 15 metres which is the second largest in the world

Are they not scrapping the sea bed in the Bristol channel, as well with dredgers to remove all the stone and sand for building work.
Whats the fishing like? Any good big fish out of your trips out in the boat Alan? and what kind of fish, Are you a regular sea fisher? As we like a trip at least once a year. Wee Neilson likes the sea fishing, am pretty sure if we where near a decent coastline we would be out doing it a bit more often.
