OK guy's the date for a trip to Magiscroft for coarse fishing will be Saturday FEB 3rd let me know who will be attending please... scott@falkirktightlines.com GEAR NEEDED::: 1xSpinning rod:::Reel with 2-3lb line:: Waggler float (about £1)::Splitshot::Barbless hooks::Landing net::Disgorger (no pliers)::3xTins Sweetcorn (get your wife to buy these from a supermarket own brand its cheaper)::Hooks (99p) maggots (about £2) permit (£5). The place opens at 09:00am. All the above items can be purchased in the shop on site, all in the day out should cost about £10 or less

aye,long time since ive dun any coarse fushin but i widnae mind a go,ive never fished a fishery just canals an ponds,in fact fished wot is now magiscroft wen i was a kid,it was called the perchy ponds in them days,so ill give it a go.

Hi guy's I forgot to mention that you will need a chair to sit on a maggot tub, landing net and a rod rest remember to get your sweetcorn from tesco's get their own brand, 3 tins will be enough.

The list just seems to get longer an longer,were gonnae need a barrow soon,reminds me wot i liked aboot fly fishin in the first place;lucky you park right at the ponds.Is it likely to be busy?given its a saturday.

the only big thing you will need is a chair and your rod, the other stuff goes in your pocket. I don't think it will be that busy mij, i was thinking about going on the small pond for the first couple of hours then move on to the middle pond where it is a bit harder to catch.

The place opens at 09.00am john and should only take about 15-20min to get there, so if we leave at about 08.40am should be fine.
