Tell me this!is that the icy pond?if so whit species o fish does it hold?

Yes Perch, Pike, and a few others and a good bird watching station as well. It is getting a bit grown over with pond plants and is silted up so no wading, leave that to the ducks and moorehens. There is a few who now use it for other recreational pursuits and the litter bug is catching on, sent a few packing last Saturday with a word in there ear due to there litter habits. Another couple of crackers asked me what i had caught pretty dim a think they were, and if the hospital was not shut would have taken then as a couple of inmates. Never actually seen anybody catch fish with a pair of binoculars or a camera they seemed to be happy that i had taken a couple of perch or maybe they thought i was an inmate

Ithought that it looked a bit familiar-might be worth giving it a go one day;i mean its right on our doorstep.

it was one of the first places i fished was the icy...there and the lido in stennie...used to get perch regular there 10 years ago now...i used to do a lot of winchin up there too.....ahh the memories ;D

There seems to be a few who have slung a line in this water not as secret as our Scottie makes out or is it just his tactics for fishing it?
