The last pic is the Mausoleum of the Livingston family that is situated above the right hand side of the lake ( South / East). Vandalized over the years like so much of Falkirks heritage, but this crime was not perpetrated by the Burgh Council who destroyed much of the Heritage in Falkirk over the century's but by Local yobs and Vandals. The graves were desecrated and a metal door had to be installed that was Bricked up, the mausoleum is in walled and tree area. The mausoleum is scrawled with graffiti and it is a sad indictment of Falkirk that this area is not as well looked after as it should be, as the family helped with the water supply to the town, and where the people of Falkirk were toasted by the Earl of Callender, with the first drop of water from the well, with the word Bairns which is now know the world over to described the people of Falkirk, the Falkirk Bairn's. Hope you find this information helpfully. Am not a fisherman but found this site through a search engine and have enjoyed looking at the pictures of our town. Let's hope there is more planned for the future.

It's a bloody disgrace the way the mausoleam has been vandalised I used to run around the estate as a young harrier and there are many fine parts to see now sadly desicrated.
