Where are you, fish?

Hi just joined this site and just started (last week) fishing the Carron between Larbert up towards Dunnipace. Thoroughly enjoying it, but no luck in catching anything yet. Is it my technique (trotting a worm down with a float) or are there no fish? Cheers.
