fly fishing on the river carron

hi guys looking for a bit of expertise

ive been fishing for 20+ years, and I am a keen fly fisher.

ive fished the carron a handfull of times when i was younger but never had any success on the fly.

was looking for any tips on good spots where casting isnt a problem, what patterns work well and under what conditions etc

any help appreciated

hi des dont know much about fishing the carron,you could try at the viaduct.have a look at google earth.you can get a great view on that now. just looked from the golf course to the viaduct a few fishable places there.about fly patterns and conditions fraid cant help you there.

a took a venture up the other night with a wee light rod and a size zero mepp

parked at viaduct and walked upstream for ages to about point 10 on the map near lochlands pool,

great sport had about 10 wee brownies within the hour,
