one of the reasons im skink(see last post)is going on our end of season sea fishing trip, (bobo, jock)not going to oban this time we are going to dunbar.
dont know what the east coast is like hope it is better than last yaer at oban.weather was bad,will tell all when i come back.

it got worse than this.

well it was only nine men in a boat.the sea fishin trip tae dunbar didnt start well when we tried tae leave the harbour the rudder conked oot took the skipper half an hour tae get it sorted.
took about ten mins tae get the the first fishin stop
after about 20 mins one of the boys got a good sized mackie then nothin for about 45 mins.wont bore ye wae all the details,we went tae about 8 or 9 drifts and caught about 15 fish cod mackies and a wrasse.
out of the nine of us seven got fish and two got nothing and guess what, i was one of the two that got nuthin.
as we were staying till sunday we went into town for few beers,there are a few good pubs for such a wee place.we ended back at the hotel about 11.30 where two of me pals got the guitars oot and we had a sing song in the bar and we (including the locals) had a guid time.
